 We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Services Support Technician to provide support to individual users of IS equipment and technology.</b></div><ul><li><b>
Responsible for the configuration and installation of any new end user device including workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.</b></li><li><b>
Supports troubleshooting and resolves end user hardware and software issues and provides recommendations as required.</b></li><li><b>
Installs and sets up new computer systems for testing and loading software. Installs software and troubleshoots software problems.</b></li><li><b>
Answers the IT Service Center phone and checks email account, makes recommendations and troubleshoots user issues to resolution. Documents into the ticket tracking system.</b></li><li><b>
Acts as the escalation point for customer relations matters and problem resolutions.</b></li><li><b>
Trains new account users and verifies that access and security of Information Services resources are properly maintained according to established organizational policies and procedures.</b></li><li><b>
Helps to train new staff on IT Service Center operations and tasks.</b></li><li><b>
Assists the Information Technology Service Center manager with department processes to ensure service level and operational level standards.</b></li><li><b>

Qualifications:

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in information technology or related field from an accredited college or university required.</li><li>
Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience troubleshooting complex network, hardware, software, and printing problems.</li><li>
Experience in acute care hospital environment.</li><li>
Must have good judgment in defusing/mitigating serious customer relations issues.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
