 Job Summary
 
 
 
 The Guitar faculty at The Goa Jazz Academy will be responsible for curricular activities such as private classes and program classes, and non-curricular activities such as curriculum design, jam sessions with students, and student showcases.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Proactively contribute to the development of the Guitar department.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Conduct and organise online/offline classes punctually and rigorously.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Coordinate with students and other faculty to ensure school&rsquo;s operational efficiency.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop and implement the Guitar curriculum, including technique, repertoire, and ensemble performance.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Participate in student jams and student showcases.
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;At least 2 years of performance experience.
 
 
 
 Musical Skills and Competencies
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Fluency in music reading/writing
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to create and adapt teaching materials.
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Familiarity with jazz is a bonus but not mandatory.
 
 
 
 Personal Skills and Competencies
 
 
 
 &middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
