Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our Young Toddler and 2's educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves educating and caring for preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being while promoting a love for learning.Duties<ul><li>Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.</li><li>Educate students in various subjects including language, math, science, and social skills through play-based learning activities.</li><li>Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that accommodates the diverse needs of all students, including those with disabilities.</li><li>Provide infant care as needed, ensuring proper hygiene and comfort for the youngest learners.</li><li>Monitor and assess each child's progress in their development and learning milestones.</li><li>Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a supportive community.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes exploration and creativity.</li><li>Administer first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience through teamwork and shared resources.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>45/90 Hour Maryland Certification required</li><li>Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.</li><li>Strong caregiving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a classroom setting.</li><li>Certification in First Aid/CPR is preferred or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.</li><li>A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not mandatory.</li></ul>Join us in making a difference in the lives of young learners by providing them with the foundational skills they need for lifelong success!Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Urbana, MD 21704: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
