Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and curriculum development. This role involves designing age-appropriate lesson plans, supporting children's social and emotional development, and collaborating with parents and staff to promote a positive educational experience. The Kindergarten Teacher will play a vital role in laying the foundation for lifelong learning and development.Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with educational standards, incorporating literacy, math, science, arts, and physical education.</li><li>Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.</li><li>Utilize learning technology and educational resources to enhance student engagement and understanding.</li><li>Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques.</li><li>Assess student progress regularly through formative and standardized testing methods; adjust instruction accordingly.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school activities, and professional development initiatives.</li><li>Mentor and support students' social-emotional growth while fostering independence and curiosity.</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and developmental milestones.</li><li>Incorporate library services and literacy education strategies to promote reading skills among young learners.</li><li>Support children with autism or other special needs through tailored instructional approaches and interventions.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and individualized education plans (IEPs).</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.</li><li>Proven classroom experience working with young children in preschool or kindergarten settings.</li><li>Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.</li><li>Experience with teaching physical education, literacy education, math, and using learning technology tools.</li><li>Familiarity with special education practices, behavior management strategies, and working with children with autism or other developmental needs.</li><li>Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.</li><li>Ability to adapt lesson plans for diverse learners and utilize standardized testing data for instructional planning.</li><li>Experience working in private schools or Montessori environments is a plus.
