<div><b>Position is Part Time: Weekends and Evenings</b></div>
<div><b>Overall Descriptions of the Position:</b></div>
<div>The Gori Law Firm is looking for a reliable Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian at our company, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the Edwardsville, IL facilities.</div>
<div><b>Position Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>Ability to learn materials, methods, and equipment used in cleaning office buildings</li>
<li>Ability to understand and carry out simple oral instructions</li>
<li>Ability to work independently with little supervision</li>
<li>Willingness to work hours other than the normal office hours.</li>
</ul><div><b>Position Duties:</b></div>
<ul><li>Keep building and property in clean and orderly condition.</li>
<li>Perform routine maintenance activities.</li>
<li>Perform heavy cleaning duties.</li>
<li>Sweep, mop, scrub, and/or vacuum floors.</li>
<li>Gather and empty trash.</li>
<li>Scrub, sanitize, and supply restroom facilities.</li>
<li>Dust furniture, walls, and equipment.</li>
<li>Clean windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers.</li>
<li>Mix cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.</li>
<li>Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.</li>
<li>Cleans and polish fixtures and furniture.</li>
<li>Shampoo or steam-clean carpets and rugs.</li>
<li>Manage inventory of cleaning supplies.</li>
<li>Notify managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.</li>
</ul><div><b>Certificates and Licenses:</b></div>
<ul><li>Must pass criminal history background check.</li>
</ul><div><b>Tools and Equipment:
</b></div><div>janitorial equipment including floor buffer, steam cleaner, carpet cleaner, washer, vacuum, mop, broom, ladder and dusting equipment.</div>
<div><b>Physical Demands:</b></div>

<div>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. <div>The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.</div>
<div><b>Salary:</b></div>
<div>$16-$20 per hour.</div></div>
