<div>Summary
Under the direction of the General Manager, the Chief Engineer is responsible for maintaining all equipment, systems and building components in the hotel and restaurants, including, but not limited to, mechanical and electrical systems, pumps, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, locks, furniture, paint, wall coverings, tile and other equipment/work normally maintained/performed by hotel Maintenance Engineers. Additional responsibilities include management and decision-making authority for day to day operations. 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 
Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Operates, repairs and maintains all operating equipment, including, but not limited to all pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, etc.</li><li>
Operates, repairs and maintains all electrical systems, refrigeration systems and equipment.</li><li>
Paints all surface &amp; equipment, makes minor wall covering repairs and minor furniture touch-up.</li><li>
Operates, repairs and maintains all hotel lighting and related equipment systems.</li><li>
Operates, repairs and maintains all plumbing and related equipment and systems.</li><li>
Repairs and maintains all hotel appliances and equipment and physical plant.</li><li>
Repairs and maintains all guest room furnishings, equipment and physical plant.</li><li>
Replaces light bulbs, fixtures, televisions and radios.</li><li>
Repairs and maintains lock and key system.</li><li>
Performs minor construction work.</li><li>
Performs necessary inspections and repairs (as required &amp; designated) to kitchen and restaurant equipment and furnishings.</li><li>
Plan, co-ordinate &amp; schedule maintenance projects</li><li>
Communicate upcoming projects with necessary departments</li><li>
Research and gather proposals for capital projects</li><li>
Manage purchases and repairs &amp; maintenance in accordance with departmental budget</li><li>
Any other related duties as assigned by the General Manager</li></ul> 
Job Requirements:<ul><li>
College degree or trade school and five years of related experience in hotel operations</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Significant attention to detail</li><li>
Computer skills required experience with Hotel information systems preferred</li><li>
Construction experience recommended; however, not required</li></ul>

<div>JOB SUMMARY
The position of the bartender is to provide an excellent guest experience, make signature cocktails, and offer recommendations regarding the local craft beers and wines offered. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.</li><li>
Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks.</li><li>
Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations.</li><li>
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.</li><li>
Plan and present bar menu.</li><li>
Check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.</li><li>
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.</li><li>
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.</li><li>
Comply with all food &amp; beverage, health and safety regulations.</li><li>
Superior knowledge of classic cocktails, as well as the capability to quickly and efficiently build, shake, and create them for clientele</li><li>
Exemplify outstanding communication skills, with the aptitude to create unique experiences for clientele and promote wonderful customer service</li><li>
Check in with clientele to ensure satisfaction</li><li>
Embody a strong and efficient work ethic, including, but not limited to keeping a clean and tidy work area, keeping guest areas clean, polishing chinaware e.g. glassware, plate-ware, silverware</li><li>
Complete opening/closing duties, follow standards in place, as well as filling out prep/checklist</li><li>
Adhere to cash handling policies with the ability to perform credit card charges as well as provide guests with accurate bills and ring in all orders accurately and at the time of the sale</li><li>
Must have knowledge of pour-cost control, as well as participate in inventory, and determine adequate par levels</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul> 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE<ul><li>
One year of prior bartending experience preferred.</li><li>
Prior guest relations training.</li><li>
Proper food safety training and certification as described by law.</li><li>
Experience working with POS (Toast, Micros, Aloha, etc.) and reservation software (Toast).</li></ul>
