Overview We&rsquo;re on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Lead Bartender to join our staff.Applicants should have the ability to create and cost cocktails. You would also have a good grasp on POS system use in general. We currently use SpotOn and it works well for what we need.Ideal candidates will live within 30-40 minutes of the business.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.</li><li>Lead the team by contributing to the training of new staff on POS system, and advising the best customer service best practices.</li><li>Help manage bar inventory, including stock rotation, ordering supplies, and tracking usage to prevent shortages.</li><li>Oversee other staff, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and the environment is welcoming.</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times</li><li>Provide excellent service to guests and give customers an experience they remember and are inclined to come back for.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience as a bartender with a strong background in food industry settings such as fine dining, nightclubs, or catering events.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; retail math skills are a plus.</li><li>Exceptional time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with an approachable attitude that makes guests feel valued.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling practices, and beverage preparation techniques.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends in fast-paced environments.</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math applications within the hospitality industry.
