If you&rsquo;re looking to work on high-impact cases where your work changes lives, we want to meet you.Position SummaryWe&rsquo;re looking for a Litigation Paralegal with personal injury experience to join our powerhouse team. Reporting to Attorney Hartunian in our Palm Desert, CA location and working directly with our attorneys, you&rsquo;ll play a critical role in supporting complex litigation matters from start to finish. You&rsquo;ll be empowered to use your expertise to push cases forward and advocate for clients who are depending on us.Job Duties:<ul><li>Draft and prepare detailed legal documents and correspondence in high-stakes personal injury cases.</li><li>File documents in state and federal jurisdictions, with a sharp focus on compliance and timing.</li><li>Own discovery &mdash; draft, review, and respond with precision.</li><li>Step in like a pro when legal support is needed &mdash; manage mail, field calls, and help guide junior staff.</li><li>Communicate with clients who need your compassion and clarity during difficult times.</li><li>Take the lead on trial preparation: deadlines, exhibits, witnesses, pleadings, and pretrial statements.</li><li>Investigate and research personal injury claims with focus, grit, and meticulous attention to detail.</li><li>Schedule and coordinate depositions, subpoenas, and service of process.</li><li>Keep the attorney&rsquo;s calendar (and the case!) on track &mdash; with proactive, detail-oriented docketing.</li><li>Work with expert witnesses and prepare materials that will make or break the case.</li><li>Support case settlement procedures and help close cases with precision and care.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Prior experience working as a Litigation Paralegal in personal injury law.</li><li>A paralegal certification or equivalent qualification under California BPC &sect;&sect;6450-6456.</li><li>A deep understanding of attorney-client confidentiality and the litigation process.</li><li>The ability to juggle deadlines, court rules, and legal procedures without dropping the ball.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Passion for justice, advocacy, and helping real people take on corporate giants.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.</li><li>Familiarity with legal research.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.</li><li>Must be comfortable in a fast-paced office setting.</li></ul>Why Join Hartunian Law Firm?Equal Opportunity EmployerWe value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
