Homecare Homebase is seeking a Senior UX Designer with a strong product mindset and a passion for creating cohesive, intuitive digital experiences. In this role, you'll play a critical part in shaping and evolving our enterprise platform, used daily by over 200,000 healthcare professionals. You&rsquo;ll lead initiatives from discovery through delivery, ensuring that solutions are scalable, consistent, and grounded in real user needs.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, excels in Figma and design systems, and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution. You&rsquo;ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, fellow designers, and users to drive impactful outcomes that align with both business goals and human-centered design principles.
What You Will Do:
<ul><li>Lead UX design efforts across major product initiatives, from research and discovery to final implementation.
</li><li>Translate user insights and business requirements into elegant, functional design solutions.
</li><li>Create journey maps, wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs across multiple breakpoints using Figma.
</li><li>Drive the evolution and governance of our design system to support scalability and brand consistency.
</li><li>Conduct and synthesize user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
</li><li>Advocate for user needs while aligning with product strategy, technical feasibility, and project constraints.
</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile product development environments.
</li><li>Communicate design rationale effectively to stakeholders of all levels.
</li><li>Ensure that final implementations reflect design intent and meet quality standards.
</li><li>Mentor junior and mid-level designers, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement in design practices.
</li></ul>Required Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), UX Design, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
</li><li>5+ years of UX/Product Design experience with a portfolio showcasing end-to-end design processes and measurable results.
</li><li>Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Figma, including design system creation and maintenance.
</li><li>Strong proficiency in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design principles.
</li><li>Deep understanding of user psychology, behavioral science, and accessibility/inclusive design standards.
</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to advocate for design in cross-functional teams.
</li><li>Experience conducting user research and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.
</li><li>Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), localization workflows, and inclusive design practices.
</li><li>Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile product development environments.
</li><li>U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder (required due to export control regulations).
</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Experience designing complex enterprise software platforms.
</li><li>Proficiency with user research tools such as Maze, Useberry, or similar.
</li><li>A background in front-end development or familiarity with front-end technologies is a plus.
</li><li>Healthcare or medical industry experience is a strong plus.

Senior UX Designer

<div>WCVB, Hearst Television&rsquo;s ABC affiliate in Boston, is seeking a dynamic, creative, and experienced newsroom leader to be our next Multi-Platform Content Director . The ideal candidate must have excellent news judgment, a strong command of breaking news and big story coverage, and a proven ability to drive impactful storytelling across digital and on-air platforms. This role oversees the daily operations of a highly competitive top-10 market newsroom and plays a strategic role in shaping content strategy, workflow, and communication. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most respected ownership groups in the nation. You will report to the News Director.
Responsibilities
<ul><li>Work with the News Director and Assistant News Director to ensure daily and long-term content adheres to the WCVB brand and the department&rsquo;s overall strategy
</li><li>Lead daily editorial meeting discussions surrounding and promote linear and digital content
</li><li>Build and execute a newsroom communication plan leveraging tools such as Microsoft Teams and AI platforms
</li><li>Support planning and execution of big event coverage from elections to debates to the Boston Marathon and other community-focused efforts

The estimated base salary range for this role is between $125,000 and $150,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands and conditions, including geographic location where the work will be performed, and other factors permitted by law.
