Summary: 
Provides merchandising services and on-site customer support at customer locations to ensure that prescribed regular service programs and customer relationships are effectively maintained at or above customer expectations. The territory consists of 24 stores and the number of hours per week is around 40 with a flexible schedule. This is an hourly position with pay being based on experience, typically from $18-20 an hour. Company car will be provided along with a corporate gas card for business miles.

Responsibilities: 
Merchandising and Customer Support
 <ul>
<li>Travels to and among customer store locations as required according to service schedule and as necessary to resolve issues.</li>
<li>Maintains customer stores by ensuring displays are set to plan-o-grams, assessing inventory levels, placing customer orders, down-stocking product, removing defective product, placing POP material, and repairing displays and equipment.</li>

Store Display Resets
 <ul>
<li>Performs physical work necessary to tear down and/or assemble store displays, including racks and other prescribed display items according to the plan-o-grams.</li>
<li>May provide direction and supervision to temporary or support personnel assigned to assist with the reset.</li>
</ul>
Conduct Store Surveys
 <ul>
<li>Completes customer service sheets and surveys as directed</li>
<li>Takes photos of displays</li>
</ul>
Follows company policies and procedures to accomplish the following

<li>Maintain and timely submit required records and receipts</li>
<li>Follow prescribed time reporting procedures and submits time worked accurately and promptly.</li>

Education: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent, college courses preferred.</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Two years field service or merchandising experience preferred, ideally in a large-scale retail environment.</li>
<li>Able to read & execute store plan-o-grams in an efficient manner and use Word, Excel, and Windows</li>

 Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Part Time Field Service Technician in the Richmond, VA area. You would begin your career with RDS as a Kiosk Technician training on key duplicating (Minute Key), tag engraving (Quick Tag) kiosks as well as 3rd party service (Eco-ATM, Pokémon).
 
The territory consists of 25+ kiosks and number of hours per week is around 25. This is an hourly role ranging from $20-22 depending on experience. Car allowance will be provided along with cell-phone reimbursement and a corporate gas card for business miles.
 
Essential Job Functions*

<li>Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule).</li>

The territory consists of 90 kiosks and number of hours per week is around 40. This is an hourly plus commission route with an estimated pay of 44-47k per year. Company car will be provided along with cell-phone reimbursement and a corporate gas card for business miles.

The territory consists of 70+ kiosks and number of hours per week is around 40. This is an hourly role based on experience, ranging from $20-24 an hour. Company car will be provided along with cell-phone reimbursement and a corporate gas card for business miles. Territory includes: Walnut Creek, Oakland, Pleasanton, Dublin, Concord, Pittsburg, Livermore, Antioch, Fremont, North Richmond, Hayward, San Leandro, Alameda, San Ramon and more.

Essential Job Functions*
 <ul>
<li>Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule).</li>
<li>Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order.</li>
<li>New kiosk Installations or swap newer kiosks of machines in the local area.</li>
<li>Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.</li>
<li>Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in Kiosk Tech’s possession.</li>
<li>Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.</li>

Education & Experience
 <ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred).</li>
<li>Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service (preferred).</li>
<li>A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred).</li>
<li>Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems.</li>
<li>Ability to read, write and speak fluent English to include technical “jargon”.</li>
</ul>
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
 <ul>
<li>Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook</li>
<li>Ability to always represent Hillman professionally</li>
<li>Ability to work weekends when required</li>
</ul>
Operational Equipment
 <ul>
<li>Must have an excellent driving record with a valid driver's license. Clean driving record is mandatory. Major driving violations will eliminate potential candidates.</li>
<li>Must have a reliable cell phone (reimbursed)</li>
</ul>
Work Environment and Physical Demands
 Work Environment
 Sales/Service: Environment varies due to location/store set-up. May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors. Travel required daily. May have to drive 200 miles daily. Hand/eye coordination required. Function vision and hearing required.
 Physical Demands
 Sales/Service: Medium, lifting up to 30 lbs., occasionally pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
