Job Summary
 Part Time Field Service Technician – Scranton, PA
 Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Full Time Field Service Technician in the Scranton, PA area. You would begin your career with RDS as a Kiosk Technician training on key duplicating (Minute Key), tag engraving (Quick Tag) kiosks as well as 3rd party service (Eco-ATM, Pokémon).
 
The territory consists of 30+ kiosks and number of hours per week is around 20. This role is hourly ranging from $20-22 an hour based on experience. Car allowance will be provided along with cell-phone reimbursement and a corporate gas card for business miles. Cities include Scranton and the surrounding area

Essential Job Functions*
 <ul>
<li>Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule).</li>
<li>Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order.</li>
<li>New kiosk Installations or swap newer kiosks of machines in the local area.</li>
<li>Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues.</li>
<li>Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in Kiosk Tech’s possession.</li>
<li>Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc.</li>

Education & Experience
 <ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED</li>
<li>Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred).</li>
<li>Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service (preferred).</li>
<li>A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred).</li>
<li>Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems.</li>
<li>Ability to read, write and speak fluent English to include technical “jargon”.</li>
</ul>
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
 <ul>
<li>Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook</li>
<li>Ability to always represent Hillman professionally</li>
<li>Ability to work weekends when required</li>
</ul>
Operational Equipment
 <ul>
<li>Must have an excellent driving record with a valid driver's license. Clean driving record is mandatory. Major driving violations will eliminate potential candidates.</li>
<li>Must have reliable transportation with automobile insurance (mileage reimbursement)</li>
<li>Must have a reliable cell phone (reimbursed)</li>
</ul>
Work Environment and Physical Demands
 Work Environment
 Sales/Service: Environment varies due to location/store set-up. May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors. Travel required daily. May have to drive 200 miles daily. Hand/eye coordination required. Function vision and hearing required.
 Physical Demands
 Sales/Service: Medium, lifting up to 30 lbs., occasionally pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.

You would begin your career with RDS as a Kiosk Technician training on key duplicating (Minute Key), tag engraving (Quick Tag) kiosks as well as 3rd party service (Eco-ATM, Pokémon).
 
The territory consists of 50+ kiosks and number of hours per week is around 40. This role pays $20-23 an hour based on experience. Company Car will be provided along with cell-phone reimbursement and a corporate gas card for business miles. Cities include Trenton and the surrounding area.
