``` Duties: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification to verify legal drinking age - Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately - Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption - Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Upsell additional food and beverage itemsRequirements: - Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role - Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions - Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices - Strong hospitality and customer service skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally - Knowledge of sales techniques to promote menu items and specials - Understanding of food handling procedures and health codes - Proficiency in cash handling procedures - Previous experience in the restaurant or retail industry is preferredPlease note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.```Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $10.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li><li>Night Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Hayesville, NC 28904 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
