This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, food-loving atmosphere.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems and relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff</li><li>Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities</li><li>Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring proper food handling procedures</li><li>Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and maintaining sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations</li><li>Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems</li><li>Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns quickly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, or similar platforms is highly desirable</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards required for safe food handling and preparation</li><li>Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and inventory purposes</li><li>Experience with food industry tools like OpenTable for reservations or upselling techniques is advantageous</li><li>Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your serving skills, and ready to deliver memorable experiences that keep guests coming back!Pay: $7.25 - $10.00 per hourWork Location: In person
