WHO YOU ARE</b></div><div>
You are a determined and innovative Elementary Special Education Teacher who is responsible for the development and implementation of individual elementary level programming for each student in conjunction with the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO</b></div><div>
 The Special Education teacher will lead classroom activities while tailoring instruction to the ability of each student. This role will also track, document, and set performance goals for students while collaborating with a multiplicationary team to maximize student outcomes and effectively communicate with families.</div><ul><li><div>
Provide 1:1 behavioral, emotional, life skills, or academic support and remediation for students in the classroom</div></li><li><div>
Plan, prepare, and implement individualized lesson plans for the development of specific skills</div></li><li><div>
Use Special Education teaching strategies to maximize student progress</div></li><li><div>
Provide guidance, training, and direction to teacher assistants and aides supporting the classroom</div></li><li><div>
Write, manage, and revise annual IEPs for all assigned students</div></li><li><div>
Uphold the education, operation, and facility standards set by Hope Academy and the Pennsylvania Department of Education</div></li><li><div>
Attend and be an active participant in IEP meetings</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with administration, teachers, therapists, families, and other external stakeholders to improve service delivery effectiveness</div></li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
