Position Overview:
<div>
The Shipping and Receiving Associate verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments, prepares items for shipment and performs inventory management for all incoming and outgoing products and materials. First Shift 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Operates forklift or pallet jacks to unload all inbound materials and to move materials to proper department or areas.</li><li>Inspect for any obvious quality issues, including short counts, packing issues, damaged goods, color quality, size, or finishing issues.</li><li>Maintains forklift by completing preventative maintenance at beginning of shift.</li><li>Manages raw material inventories, including maintenance and cleaning of inventory area, inventory organization and racking, and inventory cycle counting reporting.</li><li>Receive all Purchase Orders into accounting software daily.</li><li>May run month end open Purchase Order report.</li><li>Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas.</li><li>Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.</li><li>Prepares paperwork, packing list, bill of lading for all ground and LTL shipments.</li><li>Load all outbound LTL shipments.</li><li>Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace, report potentially unsafe conditions and ensure that the department meets and exceeds safety requirements.
</li><li>Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work in a timely and accurate manner.
</li><li>Work overtime as needed.
</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<div><b>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</b><br>
<ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED), four plus years of relevant industry experience or 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee along with the manager&rsquo;s approval to hire full-time.</li></ul></div><ul><li>Forklift certified.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION</b><br>
<ul><li>FedEx, UPS, and general freight knowledge.</li></ul></div><div></div><div><b><br>
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS</b><br>
<ul><li>Basic Computer Skills</li><li>Ability to run a forklift or pallet jack.</li><li>Excellent communication skills (oral and written).</li></ul></div><div></div><div><b><br>
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</b><br>
<ul><li>Manual dexterity for repetitive work</li><li>Frequent Standing and walking

Pay Range: USD $15.50 - USD $20.00 /Hr. Pay Statement:

The national pay range for this role is listed above. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
