<div>Culinary Utility Assistant 
Summary of Position
The Dishwasher supports the Culinary Department by operating the dish machine; cleaning, sanitizing, and storing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and service wares; maintaining a clean and safe dishwashing area; and completing kitchen utility tasks (e.g., waste removal, floor care, stocking, and basic food service support) in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions<ul><li>
Operate the dish machine, including scraping, soaking, stacking, and racking soiled dishes, glasses, utensils, and other service wares.</li><li>
Wash pots, pans, and kitchen tools; support cooks as assigned.</li><li>
Store clean and sanitized service wares in designated areas.</li><li>
Clean, sanitize, and organize the dishwashing/utility area and equipment (e.g., racks, bus tubs, carts, tables, sinks).</li><li>
Maintain kitchen and dish area floors (sweep, mop, and complete scheduled deep cleaning such as stripping as assigned).</li><li>
Remove trash, cardboard, and recyclables from the Culinary Department and transport to designated disposal areas.</li><li>
Restock utility and sanitation supplies as assigned (e.g., chemicals, gloves, paper goods, trash liners).</li><li>
Assist with basic food service support as assigned (e.g., stocking, tray set-up/bussing, desserts, garnishes, room service trays).</li><li>
Support other dining areas and special programs as assigned.</li><li>
Maintain a clean work environment, follow sanitation and safety practices, and present a professional appearance.</li><li>
Attend and participate in required in-services and trainings.</li><li>
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Full or Part Time Dishwasher

Summary of Position

The Server plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and creating a place our residents are proud to call home. The primary purpose of this position is to provide residents and guests with the best possible dining experience and deliver Platinum Service&reg; with each interaction.

Shift: 3:45pm-7pm, every other weekend required.

Essential Job Functions
<ul>
<li>Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.</li>
<li>Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.</li>
<li>Distribute and collect menus as necessary.</li>
<li>Take meal orders, serve food and beverages, and answer questions regarding the menu.</li>
<li>Follow sanitary regulations at all times.</li>
<li>Provide Platinum Service with each dining experience.</li>
<li>Set up meal trays, food carts and set up the dining room with utensils, salt and pepper, napkins, and clean common areas prior and after meals are served.</li>
<li>Assist in checking resident trays before distribution.</li>
<li>Pour hot and cold beverages for residents. Assist residents with opening their containers and condiments as needed. Pay special attention to resident and guest needs while they are enjoying their dining experience.</li>
<li>Prepare and deliver snacks to special events and parties hosted at the community.</li>
<li>Bus tables during and after the meals.</li>
<li>Provide support services to other dining rooms, during events and activities as needed.</li>
<li>Clean dining room area according to the cleaning schedules and assignments.</li>
<li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>

Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:</h4>
<ul><li>Perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy services under the direction and supervision of the nurse, e.g. range of motion exercises, assistance in ambulation or exercises.</li>
<li>Performs personal care activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, skin care/nail care, oral hygiene, shaving, dressing, and others as directed/requested.</li>
<li>Performs household services essential to health care at home including meal preparation/feeding, laundry and ironing, changing/laundering bed linens, light housekeeping and other services as offered.</li>
<li>Initiates and participates in leisure activities provided for residents. Encourages residents to socialize and participate in planned activities or programs and to develop friendships with other residents.</li>
<li>Observes and documents the health and emotional condition of each resident, promptly reporting all changes to the nurse.</li>
<li>Responds promptly and courteously to resident requests for assistance and emergency pull cords.</li>
<li>Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for residents by observing infection control practices, following facility guidelines, and reporting unsafe situation to the nurse.</li>
<li>Assist residents in preparing and transporting for appointments and social programs.</li>
<li>Assist with moving and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.</li>
<li>Assist residents to walk with or without self-help devices as instructed.</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">Required Skills and Qualifications:</h4>
<ul><li>Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism.
</li><li>Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

</li><li>Must be able to speak, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, employees, residents, and families.</li>

<ul><li>Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant or a licensed Medication Assistant in accordance with laws of this state.</li>
