PURPOSE: 
The Jewish Board is a large and diverse human services agency, with an annual budget of $240 million, 2,500 employees, and 60 service locations around the five boroughs. POSITION OVERVIEW: 
This position will assist the fiscal financial planning team with budgets, financial planning, forecasting, and grant reporting for both pre- and post-awards to ensure compliance, financial accuracy, and effective reporting.
 
KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Data Analysis & Reporting: Assist with data Gathering, analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators.</li>
<li>Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Assist with the development and maintenance of financial models, and budgeting models, to forecast future financial performance.</li>
<li>Budgeting & Planning: Assist in the preparation of budgets and strategic financial plans to help service lines divisions achieve their financial goals.</li>
</ul>
Assist with Request for Proposal (RFP) for external contracts and/or grants, including budget preparation, financial analysis and review.
 
<ul>
<li>Performance Monitoring: Assist with the financial health of projects, business modeling and providing regular reports and insights to management.</li>
<li>Grant Monitoring: Assist with Monitoring and approving expenditures, ensuring compliance with grant and contract terms, and automated grants management processes.</li>
<li>Other tasks as assigned.</li>

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIRED: 
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a closely related discipline and one year of experience, preferably in a healthcare, behavioral health and/or non-profit environment.</li>
</ul>
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/LANGUAGE PREFERENCE: 
<ul>
<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.</li>
<li>Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software. Knowledge of excel required.</li>
<li>A plus, but not required -experience using New York City – Passport, New York State -Statewide Financial system (SFS)</li>
</ul>
COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED: 
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in using computer hardware (e.g. laptop, printers, scanners).</li>
<li>Proficiency in using computer software (e.g. Microsoft office software, Sage Intacct, Dayforce CRM).</li>
<li>Familiarity with digital communication tools, email, video conferencing MST, Zoom, webex and instant messaging platforms.</li>
<li>A plus, Experience with Microsoft Co-pilot and/or other AI tools for automation a plus and data Visualization platform (i.e Tableau, Microsoft BI)</li>
</ul>
VISUAL AND MANUAL DEXIERITY: 
<ul>
<li>The candidate should be able to read documents for analytical purposes such as computer information, software, computer graphic design programs, etc.</li>
</ul>
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL EFFORT
 <ul>
<li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer</li>
<li>Must be willing to work a hybrid work schedule.</li>
</ul>
