Part-Time DriverThe King Farm &ndash; South Dartmouth, MA 15&ndash;20 hours per week Schedule: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and SaturdaysThe King Farm is looking for a dependable, organized part-time driver to help keep our farm stand stocked with the best local products New England has to offer.This position is much more than making deliveries. You&rsquo;ll play an important role in supporting our relationships with local farmers, food producers, and small businesses. Each week, you&rsquo;ll travel throughout southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, picking up fresh produce, dairy, meats, baked goods, and other locally made products and safely transporting them back to our farm stand.Responsibilities<ul><li>Drive our 20-foot refrigerated box truck (no CDL required)</li><li>Pick up orders from local farms, food producers, and distributors</li><li>Verify products and quantities during pickup</li><li>Safely load, secure, and transport perishable products</li><li>Maintain proper refrigerated temperatures during transport</li><li>Assist with unloading and organizing products upon return to the farm</li><li>Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns</li><li>Represent The King Farm professionally while interacting with our suppliers</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record</li><li>Comfortable driving a 20-foot box truck (or willing to learn)</li><li>Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds</li><li>Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage a delivery schedule</li><li>Appreciation for local agriculture and supporting small farms is a plus</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays</li><li>Approximately 15&ndash;20 hours per week</li><li>Typical shifts are approximately 4&ndash;7 hours</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>$20&ndash;22 per hour, depending on experience</li><li>Employee discount at The King Farm Farm Stand</li></ul>To apply, please send your resume and a brief introduction explaining why you&rsquo;re interested in joining The King Farm.Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
