This role is responsible for supporting the global quality systems and works closely with the Manufacturing/Warehousing team and the Quality and Regulatory Manager. The Quality Associate role performs routine quality functions which require application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria, correlating and reporting data, recognizing discrepancies in results and following operations through a series of related, detailed steps or processes, in addition to administrative work.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities<ul><li>Quality Inspection support for manufacturing and packaging shifts at both Golden and Westgate warehouses.</li><li>Investigate known or reported quality issues and report discrepancies to Quality and Regulatory Manager.</li><li>Preserve Quality Control Site Data Integrity, including reviewing and resolving discrepancy reports.</li><li>Process new product reviews and report findings.</li><li>Build mockups of product store displays, shippers, bins, clip strips and provide feedback around functionality, durability, and shipping safety.</li><li>Review and approve global product carton renderings, codes, descriptions, and labels.</li><li>Coordinate finished goods third-party testing.</li><li>Aid in organizing and maintaining systems product data for global packaging regulations and standards.</li><li>Organize and assist in maintaining product data for global waste and sustainability regulations and standards.</li><li>Maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) Database.</li><li>Support vendor compliance program.</li><li>Recommend, create, and revise quality policies and procedures.</li><li>Maintain quality and compliance records.</li><li>Educate team members in quality and compliance standards.</li><li>Support department and company continuous improvement and safety initiatives.</li><li>Other tasks and projects as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>High school diploma and/or bachelor&rsquo;s degree with at least 2 years applicable quality experience (preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment) or a combination of education and/or experience.</li><li>
Flexibility with schedule to support quality inspections for all three shifts:</li><li>
Availability to work a 2-3 hour time block during 3rd shift hours (10pm-6am) at minimum 2-3 times weekly.</li><li>
All other starting hours are between 8am-10am.\</li><li>
Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).</li><li>
Exceptional attention to detail.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li><li>
Experience with Data Analytics preferred.</li><li>
Effective project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Experience in using inventory systems, product label creation software, and Wrike (or similar project management software).</li><li>
Capable of working independently, managing multiple tasks, and learning new skills quickly.</li></ul>
Work Conditions<ul><li>
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.</li><li>
Ability to see items near and in the distance; have peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</li><li>
Employee must use hands, fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms sometimes above head, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.</li><li>
May require standing for multiple hours and ability to bend at the waist several times per day.</li><li>
