You'll work directly with homeowners, builders, designers, property managers, and contractors to design and sell custom lighting solutions for residential and commercial projects throughout the greater Indianapolis area.If you're self-motivated, enjoy meeting new people, and want the freedom of a flexible schedule with uncapped earning potential, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoSales &amp; Client Consultation<ul><li>Guide customers through the lighting selection and design process</li><li>Build relationships with homeowners, interior designers, builders, contractors, and property managers</li><li>Identify client needs and recommend appropriate lighting products and solutions</li><li>Prepare lighting designs, proposals, and quotations</li><li>Follow up on leads and maintain ongoing communication throughout the sales process</li><li>Achieve personal sales goals while contributing to company growth</li></ul>Lead Generation &amp; Business Development<ul><li>Follow up on leads generated through company marketing initiatives</li><li>Schedule and conduct in-home and on-site consultations</li><li>Generate new business through networking, prospecting, referrals, and community events</li><li>Participate in trade shows, home shows, and local marketing activities</li><li>Maintain accurate customer records within the CRM system</li></ul>Lighting Design &amp; Project Development<ul><li>Develop lighting layouts and fixture recommendations</li><li>Assist clients with layered lighting concepts and design coordination</li><li>Recommend products that complement architectural styles, finishes, and budgets</li><li>Stay current on lighting trends, technologies, and industry best practices</li><li>Collaborate with installation team members to ensure successful project execution</li></ul>On-Site Consultations<ul><li>Meet with clients at residential and commercial properties</li><li>Assess existing lighting conditions and project requirements</li><li>Discuss customer goals, preferences, and budgets</li><li>Present customized lighting designs and solutions</li></ul>QualificationsRequired<ul><li>Previous sales experience</li><li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule</li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills</li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation</li><li>Willingness to travel throughout the Indianapolis metropolitan area</li><li>Basic computer proficiency and comfort using CRM and email systems</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience in lighting, interior design, home furnishings, construction, landscaping, or home improvement sales</li><li>Knowledge of lighting fixtures, controls, and applications</li><li>Experience reading plans or creating design layouts</li><li>Interior design education or related experience</li><li>Experience with lighting design software or layout tools</li><li>Proven ability to generate referrals and repeat business</li></ul>Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Work Location: On the road
