This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal administrative expertise while contributing to impactful legal work in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents including contracts, estate plans, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail</li><li>Manage legal case files and document management systems like Smokeball to ensure accurate filing, data entry, and retrieval of case information</li><li>Conduct document review and assist with support activities such as title clearance, estate proofreading, and petition proofreading.</li><li>Support attorneys with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and providing executive administrative support</li><li>Perform thorough proofreading and transcription of legal documents to maintain high standards of accuracy</li><li>Facilitate communication with clients, courts, vendors, and other stakeholders via phone etiquette and professional correspondence</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Paralegal experience or equivalent legal administrative experience in a law office setting is required</li><li>Familiarity with a broad spectrum of law practice areas including estate planning, workers' compensation law, personal inj is highly desirable</li><li>Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis is essential</li><li>Experience with document management systems like iManage or similar platforms is preferred</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence</li><li>Knowledge of project management principles within a legal context is advantageous</li><li>Demonstrated clerical skills including filing, data entry, phone etiquette, proofreading, transcription and general administrative support</li></ul>This role is paid and offers an engaging environment where your contributions directly impact the success of our legal team.
