This position is ideal for an attorney who values flexibility, litigation experience, and the opportunity to handle impactful personal injury cases from start to finish.The position is fully remote apart from the occasional need to appear at in-person depositions (when requested by defense counsel), mediations, hearings, and trials in the Metro-Atlanta area (expected 2-3 times per month).Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Litigation<ul><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from intake to case resolution</li><li>Draft and send demand letters; negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters</li><li>Negotiate medical liens and bills to maximize client recovery</li></ul>Litigation<ul><li>Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation-related documents</li><li>Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, and trials</li><li>Attend occasional court hearings, depositions, and mediations (with or without senior counsel)</li><li>Represent clients in Magistrate Court proceedings when necessary</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school</li><li>Active license to practice law in Georgia</li><li>Some experience in personal injury litigation preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Georgia tort law, medical terminology, and personal injury litigation procedure</li><li>Strong communication, negotiation, and client-interaction skills</li><li>Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities</li><li>Ability to manage cases independently in a remote environment.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines</li><li>Tech-savvy and comfortable with legal software and databases</li><li>Professional, team-oriented, and client-focused mindset</li></ul>Why Join Us?<ul><li>Competitive salary with performance-based bonus opportunities</li><li>Significant career growth and litigation experience, including courtroom exposure</li><li>Collaborative work environment with direct mentorship from senior attorneys</li><li>Bonus incentives for attorneys who bring in personal injury cases</li></ul>Firm Benefits<ul><li>Work remotely (40 hours/week)</li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>401(k) with employer matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease submit your resume, cover letter, and a writing sample to mark@coker-law.com.
