The Law Office of Steven Alizio, PLLC is looking to higher an attorney experienced in practicing special education law in NYC.Required Experience:*At least 5 years practicing special education law in NYC*Experience managing cases and representing clients at hearings with minimal supervisionPreferred Experience:*Recovering attorneys&rsquo; fees in federal court*Appellate work at the SRO and federal levelsCompensation:*Very competitive and commensurate with experience. ($150k is the starting base salary for a full-time attorney with 5-6 years of experience practicing special education law in NYC; attorneys with more experience practicing special education law in NYC are eligible for a higher base salary of up to $180k for the first year with the firm).Hybrid Work:*Full-time attorneys work in-person at our office in the financial district 1-2 times per week (Tuesdays and some Thursdays) and remotely the other days.About the firm:The Law Office of Steven Alizio, PLLC is dedicated to ensuring that students with disabilities receive appropriate educational services and placements.
