We are a small Family Law firm, conveniently located in San Jose, seeking a legal secretary/assistant.This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.&middot; Light secretarial duties, including electronic filing, answering phones, copying, scanning, etc.&middot; Drafting light correspondence&middot; Drafting light basic pleadings&middot; Trial preparation, including organizing trial binders&middot; Calendaring/Scheduling&middot; Other responsibilities as assigned&middot; Proficient with Macintosh&middot; Proficient in Adobe, Microsoft Word and Excel, and QuickBooks;&middot; Professional demeanor, as the position may require you to communicate with the Court, clients, and other attorneys from time to time&middot; Must be able to work autonomously with minimal direction and have a &lsquo;can do&rsquo; attitude* Must have reliable transportation; Free parking is provided* $20-25/hr depending on experience and qualifications* If you are interested, please email us your resume and cover letter.
