A well-established and growing commercial daycare center chain, The Learning Tree Day School, is seeking to fill a position at one of its locations: Center Director. We are seeking to fill the position for our Riverdale location. Although the center sits in Riverdale, it is located only 3 miles from the Fayette County line and 4 miles from the Fulton County line. The Learning Tree Day School has been in business for 25+ years and has two commercial locations.Center Director Requirements:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Overseeing the day-to-day operations</li><li>Hiring and supervising staff and teachers</li><li>Overseeing the physical facility (exterior and interior)</li><li>Marketing the school, maintaining current customers and recruiting new customers</li><li>Managing required reports, customer and employee paperwork and files</li><li>Making certain center philosophy, mission, regulations, rules and standards are adhered to</li><li>Making certain Local, State and Federal licensing regulations are adhered to</li><li>Must be able to drive a 15-passenger van</li></ul>Credential requirements include, but are not limited to:Minimum Required Experience:<ul><li>Must have a total of at least 10 years of experience with commercial licensed daycare facilities.</li><li>Must have at least 3 years of director experience at a childcare facility with a capacity of 100 or more.</li><li>Must have at least 5 years of daycare teaching experience.</li></ul>Minimum Required Education:<ul><li>Prefer the applicant to have either a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (or higher) in an Early Childhood Education related field. Will also consider an applicant with a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (or higher) in a different field that also holds a CDA or Technical certificate in Early Childhood Education.</li></ul>Minimum Required Skills:<ul><li>Must possess excellent oral, interpersonal and written communication skills</li><li>Must possess excellent organizational and leadership skills</li><li>Must possess a natural love for and skill in educating and nurturing daycare-age children</li><li>Must have a good driver's record</li><li>Must receive a satisfactory BFTS criminal background check</li></ul>Salary, Benefits and Work Hours:<ul><li>Salary is tied to the performance of the business and enrollment</li><li>Salary consists of base salary + performance-salary + multiple bonuses</li><li>Total starting base salary ranges $41K to $52K</li><li>Starting base salary pay is commensurate with level-of-experience and education</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>Paid 1 week vacation</li><li>Free child tuition</li><li>Work Hours: 745AM-530PM M-F</li></ul>PLEASE APPLY FOR THE CENTER DIRECTOR POSITION ONLY IF: (1) You have ALL of the minimum required experience, education and skills listed above &hellip; (2) You are seeking a long term and stable job-career with opportunities for growth.
