 We are seeking an experienced Coffee Shop Barista with open availability to join our team. A successful candidate will have a warm and welcoming personality, a genuine passion for the hospitality industry, and a can-do spirit.
 
 
 
 Essential Functions:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Greet every guest promptly with a smile and maintain eye contact
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
 </li>
 <li>
 Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the hotel&rsquo;s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrate advanced understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest.
 </li>
 <li>
 Possess expert knowledge of the POS system to correctly and strategically communicate guest orders
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrate exert proficiency in barista work and all coffee and tea-related subject matter
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for receiving payment for all items ordered, correct cash handling and gratuity distribution
 </li>
 <li>
 Take ownership of all service issues brought to your attention by guests
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructions
 </li>
 <li>
 Be familiar with all safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirements
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Core Competencies

 High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
 </li>
 <li>
 Three (3) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
 </li>
