Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.Duties<ul><li>Monitor premises through regular patrols to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.</li><li>Enforce company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.</li><li>Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid as necessary.</li><li>Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.</li><li>Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify security risks or breaches.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any relevant observations.</li><li>Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and assist in investigations related to loss prevention or security breaches.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience in a security role, military service, or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.</li><li>Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.</li><li>Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.</li><li>Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.</li><li>Must be physically fit to perform duties that may require standing for extended periods or responding quickly in emergencies.</li><li>Must have an operational reliable vehicle</li><li>Must have a smart phone capable of scanning NFC chips and utilizing location based services</li><li>Must be on time to shifts starting at 6am to 6pm or overnight shifts from 6pm to 6am.</li><li>We are currently filling 2 non-commission Level 2 posts for this location. </li></ul>If you are committed to ensuring safety and security while providing exceptional service, we encourage you to apply for this vital role within our organization.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: From $12.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Referral program</li></ul>Work Location: In person
