In this vital role, you will oversee complex accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial standards, and support the organization&rsquo;s financial health through accurate reporting and analysis. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to contribute to our growth and operational excellence.Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage the preparation and review of journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and internal controls, including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements.</li><li>Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes using financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Workday.</li><li>Conduct detailed analysis of financial data using Excel formulas, VLOOKUP functions, and data analysis techniques to support decision-making.</li><li>Assist with external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting by preparing necessary documentation and schedules.</li><li>Support payroll management activities through systems like ADP, Paychex, Kronos, or UltiPro, ensuring accurate employee compensation processing.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and benefits administration to streamline financial operations.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with strong understanding of accounting concepts such as debits &amp; credits, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software systems including QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or similar platforms.</li><li>Knowledge of GAAP standards and SOX compliance procedures.</li><li>Experience with payroll systems like ADP or Paychex and benefits administration processes.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail in account reconciliation, journal entries, and data entry tasks.</li><li>Ability to perform Excel data analysis using formulas like VLOOKUP and functions such as 10 key typing for efficient processing.</li></ul>Join us as a Senior Accountant if you&rsquo;re passionate about maintaining high standards in financial accuracy while supporting a dynamic team environment!
