Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.
<ul>
<li>Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.</li>
<li>Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.</li>
<li>Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.</li>
</ul>
To qualify for a lead teaching position with The Malvern School you must meet one of the follow criteria:
<ul>
<li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.</li>
 <li>A bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.</li>
<li>An associate&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.</li>
<li>An associate&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.</li>

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-5:15pm

What we need from you:

<li>High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age</li>
<li>At least 2500 hours (1 year, 4 months) months of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits (or CDA) and at least 1250 hours (8 months) documented experience with young children in a licensed facility</li>
<li>Must be (or be willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) OR a degree in the field</li>
