We are looking for an accomplished Assistant Vice President to join our Fiduciary team as part of our financial services business in Dubai.
</div><div>
</div><div>Established in 2008, our Dubai office is the Maples Group&rsquo;s regional operating hub in the Middle East. The Assistant Vice President (&ldquo;AVP&rdquo;) within the Dubai Fiduciary team report to the Regional Head of Fiduciary are responsible for undertaking a high number of new business/transactions, whether fiduciary or administrative in nature.</div><div>
</div><div>
Your primary responsibilities include:</div><div>
</div><div><i>
Client Work and Client Service</i></div><div>
</div><ul><li>
Being the assigned administrator responsible for a portfolio of clients;</li><li>
Responsible for preparing management accounts or financial statements from available source documents;</li><li>
Correspond with the clients about source documents and other details required for preparing the management accounts or the financial statements;</li><li>
Liaise with auditors, lawyers, investment managers or other parties related to the company when required to prepare the reports;</li><li>
Assist with Audit of financial statements;</li><li>
Assist clients for filing FATCA/CRS, ESR and CIT;</li><li>
reviewing transaction documents, providing written comments to parties as appropriate or attending conference calls as required;</li><li>
liaising with arrangers, investment managers, lawyers and other relevant parties concerning the setting up of new business as well as acting as a primary point of contact for ongoing issue resolution;</li><li>
ensuring files are compliant with MaplesFS procedures and policies;</li><li>
ensuring all relevant MaplesFS databases are completed and maintained with accurate information in relation to assigned portfolio of clients;</li><li>
ensuring all annual administration in respect of a client is completed in accordance with the MaplesFS policies and procedures and in a timely manner;</li><li>
developing effective working relations with assigned portfolio of clients and responding promptly and professionally to client requests;</li><li>
assessing and advising clients of compliance requirements and obtaining necessary documentation prior to commencing work and in accordance with all internal procedures.</li></ul><div>

Billing and Receivables</i></div><div>
</div><ul><li>
ensuring invoices are raised and disseminated to clients in a timely manner and in accordance with administration agreements; and</li><li>
consistently monitoring and minimising receivables, ensuring that no balances over 90 days exist without reason agreed to by.</li></ul><div>
</div><div><i>
Risk Management</i></div><div>
</div><ul><li>
acting in accordance with legal, regulatory and internal risk management requirements, including complying with policies and procedures.</li></ul><div>
</div><div><i>
Business Development</i></div><div>
</div><ul><li>
maintaining active contact with a targeted network in order to create market opportunities;</li><li>
helping to win new clients to meet the firm&rsquo;s growth, revenue and cross selling .</li></ul><div>
