Job Summary We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Painters/Make-Ready Technicians to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing residential and commercial properties to ensure they meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and support renovation and restoration projects. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in construction painting, drywall finishing, and surface preparation while contributing to exciting projects across various settings.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer as needed</li><li>Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools and power tools such as airless sprayers and brushes</li><li>Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute painting plans and specifications</li><li>Perform trim carpentry, fixture installation, and basic drywall repairs to ensure seamless finishes</li><li>Use construction estimating skills to determine materials needed for each project</li><li>Assist with renovation, restoration, and remodeling tasks on construction sites</li><li>Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols related to scaffolding, welding, masonry, and industrial painting</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects with knowledge of construction site procedures</li><li>Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and airless paint spraying equipment</li><li>Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math for estimating project needs</li><li>Knowledge of color theory and surface preparation techniques such as plastering, stucco application, and caulking</li><li>Experience with renovation projects involving carpentry (trim framing), masonry, concrete finishing, welding, or restoration work is a plus</li><li>Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately</li></ul>Join us as a Painters/Make-Ready Technician if you&rsquo;re passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
