All Critical Care units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and continuous telemetry monitoring.

</li></ul>Primary skills utilized/learned:
<ul><li>Hemodynamic monitoring
</li><li>Invasive procedures
</li><li>IVs, Central Lines, wound care, drain care
</li><li>Critical thinking skills
</li></ul>Personnel RN will work with :
Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers

Required Qualifications:
<ul><li>Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
</li><li>Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
</li><li>Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
</li><li>Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications :
<ul><li>BSN
</li><li>Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association</li></ul></div>

Registered Nurse- MICU Day/Night

All Acute Care Adult Specialty units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring capability.
Join our Acute Care Adult Medical Surgical and Surgical Overflow Unit, 4 East! 
 
Primary Patient Population:
<ul><li>Inpatient Medical
</li><li>Post-Surgical Ortho Care
</li><li>Spinal surgery recovery
</li>Trauma overflow 
<li>
</li></ul> 
Primary skills utilized/learned:
<ul><li>Assisting patients with all aspects of personal hygiene, eating &amp; drinking
</li><li>Taking vital signs (i.e. temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight, and other parameters as instructed).
</li>Providing comfort measures, including utilizing pressure relieving devices, range of motion (ROM) activities, and applying simple protective dressings.

LPNs, Registered Nurses, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT

34 beds (14 private rooms, 20 semi-private rooms)

Required Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills.
</li>Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. 
<li>
</li></ul> 
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE: Maintaining ODH Registry status as a STNA is optional after employment in this position).
</li><li>1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.</li></ul></div>
