 About The Role
 
 
 
 As Storekeeper, you will play a vital role in supporting the hotel's operations by efficiently managing inventory and ensuring the timely distribution of goods to various departments. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, verifying incoming shipments, and upholding organizational standards for storage and safety. The Storekeeper collaborates closely with the purchasing and receiving teams to ensure that all supplies are available and properly stored, contributing to the smooth functioning of the hotel's services.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Duties and Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintains stock level for all the store items as per approved par-stock levels.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepares purchase requisitions for the store items as per the movements and par level.
 </li>
 <li>
 Receives the items from the receiving clerk which is ordered by store and verify with purchase request.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follows up with purchasing department for non-delivered items.
 </li>
 <li>
 Arranges / stores the items in the shelves / pallets in category wise and follow FIFO method.
 </li>
 <li>
 Removes all the plastic bags and stacks the items in the shelves.
 </li>
 <li>
 Makes sure that all the store items are kept at appropriate temperature.
 </li>
 <li>
 Issues items for different departments / Outlets / Kitchens / Bars etc with approved electronic or manual store requisitions and obtain receiver signature on the requisition.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follows FIFO while issuing the items.
 </li>
 <li>
 Makes requisitions for all manual requisitions and post.
 </li>
 <li>
 Modifies the requisition if any corrections and then posts the requisition.
 </li>
 <li>
 Posts all the store requisitions on daily basis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinates with departments for special functions and orders the items as per the special requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists cost control for monthly / yearly stock taking.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures that all the store products have reasonable expiry date within Municipality guidelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepares slow moving / nonmoving and short expiry items list on monthly basis.
 </li>
 <li>
 Makes sure that stores are always clean and tidy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains high level of Hygiene in the Stores and surrounding areas as per the standard of Meydan Hygiene Department and Dubai Municipality requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow company HACCP and hygiene standards
 </li>
 <li>
 To report breakage, shortage if any to the Store Manager.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Skills and Experience Required
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Previous experience in storekeeping or inventory management, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with iScala is an added advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of HACCP principles and hygiene standards, especially those mandated by Dubai Municipality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage special orders efficiently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in preparing inventory reports, including lists of slow-moving, non-moving, and short-expiry items.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with stock-taking procedures and cost control practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and high hygiene standards in all store areas.
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting purposes.
 </li>

 As Guest Service Executive, you will be the face of The Meydan Hotel, providing a warm and professional welcome to all guests and visitors. In this pivotal role, you are responsible for handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing guest inquiries both in person and over the phone, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure.  Greet guests upon arrival and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
 </li>

 Maintains accurate guest records and upholds the highest standards of service and hospitality in every interaction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responds to guest inquiries in a timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
 </li>
 <li>
 Process payments and issue room keys while adhering to security protocols.
 </li>
 <li>
 Address guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate as necessary.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
 </li>

 Skills and Experience Required
 
 
 <ul>

 Previous experience in front desk, receptionist, or customer service role within the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with guests of diverse backgrounds.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a fast-paced front desk environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in hotel property management systems, particularly familiarity with Opera Cloud, as well as standard office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to resolve guest issues calmly and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate guest records and upholding confidentiality.
 </li>
 <li>
 Positive attitude, polished appearance, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
 </li>
 <li>
 Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of local attractions and the ability to provide recommendations to guests is an added advantage.
 </li>
