Job Title: Carpenter Supervisor / ForemanDepartment: Production Reporting To: Production ManagerJob SummaryThe Carpenter Supervisor / Foreman is responsible for supervising carpentry works at the factory , ensuring quality workmanship, timely execution, safety compliance, and efficient manpower utilization as per approved drawings and project schedules.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision &amp; Execution<ul><li>Supervise daily carpentry activities at site/factory as per drawings and work instructions.</li><li>Allocate work to carpenters, helpers, and subcontractors.</li><li>Ensure proper installation of furniture, fixtures, modular units, doors, panels, and woodwork.</li></ul>Quality Control<ul><li>Ensure carpentry work meets approved designs, quality standards, and finish requirements.</li><li>Conduct regular quality checks and rectify defects or rework issues.</li><li>Coordinate with QC and design teams for clarifications.</li></ul>Material &amp; Tools Management<ul><li>Check availability of materials, hardware, and tools before execution.</li><li>Monitor material usage and control wastage.</li><li>Maintain tools, machines, and safety equipment.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Coordinate with Site Engineer, Interior Designer, and other trades (electrical, painting, polishing).</li><li>Report daily progress, manpower deployment, and issues to management.</li><li>Assist in measurement, snag list closure, and handover activities.</li></ul>Safety &amp; Discipline<ul><li>Ensure adherence to safety rules and use of PPE at site/factory.</li><li>Maintain discipline and productivity among workers.</li><li>Ensure housekeeping standards at work areas.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong knowledge of carpentry work, furniture fabrication, and installation.</li><li>Ability to read drawings and understand technical specifications.</li><li>Leadership and team-handling skills.</li><li>Problem-solving and decision-making ability.</li><li>Time management and coordination skills.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>ITI / Diploma in Carpentry or equivalent experience.</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;8 years of experience in carpentry, with 2&ndash;3 years in a supervisory role.</li><li>Experience in interior fit-out, retail, commercial, or residential projects preferred.</li></ul>Work Location<ul><li>Factory</li><li>Duty Time - 9 am to 8 pm</li><li>Mon - Saturday</li></ul>Salary<ul><li>25000/- to 35000/- Pm </li></ul>WhatsApp No - 8657005459 (HR Abhinandan Rai )Job Type: Full-timePay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Food provided</li></ul>Work Location: In person
