Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of HOA communities. This role requires travel throughout Puyallup, WA for site visits, meetings, and client engagement.
Requirements:
<ul><li>Manage and optimize a portfolio of community associations to ensure client satisfaction, compliance, and long-term success.</li><li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for Board members, homeowners, vendors, and internal team members.</li><li>
Support annual budget development and financial oversight in coordination with accounting teams.</li><li>
Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance and capital improvement projects.</li><li>
Ensure adherence to governing documents, legal requirements, and company procedures.</li><li>
Participate in Board meetings (typically evenings) and provide timely follow-up and reporting.</li><li>
Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients and support staff.</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
3+ prior experience in HOA or association management.</li><li>
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Strong customer service mindset and the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with homeowners, board members, vendors, and internal teams.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, property management systems (i.e. CINC), and cloud-based platforms; with the ability to learn new systems quickly.</li><li>
Detail-oriented with experience coordinating vendors, tracking work completion, maintaining accurate records, and following established processes.</li><li>
Industry certifications such as CMCA are a plus.</li></ul>
