Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nanny to provide exceptional childcare for a luxury family in Chicago. The ideal candidate will be passionate about child development, attentive to detail, and capable of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with a distinguished family, supporting their children's growth and well-being through personalized care and educational activities.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide attentive and loving care for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs.</li><li>Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized environment, including light housekeeping related to childcare duties.</li><li>Administer basic first aid when necessary and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.</li><li>Assist with potty training, nap schedules, and daily routines to foster independence.</li><li>Support children's educational development through teaching activities and interaction.</li><li>Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in caregiving approaches and communicate effectively about children's progress.</li><li>Handle special needs or disabilities with sensitivity and appropriate caregiving techniques when required.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as a nanny or caregiver, preferably within a luxury or high-net-worth family setting.</li><li>Strong background in childcare, including infant care, toddler care, preschool experience, and babysitting.</li><li>Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific activities.</li><li>Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly preferred.</li><li>Ability to prepare healthy meals and assist with basic cooking tasks.</li><li>Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and other caregivers.</li><li>Flexibility to adapt to the family's schedule and specific needs.</li><li>Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, patience, and nurturing demeanor.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Work Location: In person
