A family in Warren is seeking a patient, live-out nanny to provide care and support for their three children, aged 2, 4, and 7 years old. The schedule involves a flexible arrangement between the nanny and the au pair,with shifts covering mornings and afternoons. Shifts are from 6:30 am until 1:30 pm on some days and 1:30 pm until 8:30 pm on others. The position requires flexibility and collaboration with both the household staff and Mom. 
Duties:
 
General responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, facilitating age-appropriate activities, and preparing nutritious meals. Maintaining the children's daily routines and supporting light household tasks related to the children, such as managing laundry, grocery shopping, and vacuuming designated areas. Occasionally, assisting with UPS package returns may be helpful.

About the children:

The middle child, who is 4 years old, tends to be calmer than the other two children. He is having trouble and is displaying a lot of attention seeking behaviors with mom. Mom has taken over the typical day-to-day care for the middle child given the situation however she still feels that if the caregiver creates a bond this will be a lack of an issue However, he is still energetic and occasionally displays some adventurousness. Initially, he may be shy when meeting new people, but overall, he is very sweet.
The oldest, who is 7 years old, is an energetic, confident, and expressive child with a charismatic personality. He has been diagnosed with ADHD. His afterschool activities have not yet been finalized but possibilities include Italian classes, therapy, sports, and emotion regulation classes. 
About the home/parents:
 
This is a health-conscious household. The family aims to minimize the intake of unhealthy foods whenever possible. Mom is friendly, outgoing, supportive, and well-organized. She values having a sense of control and maintains high standards for her children, all within a positive and communicative environment. Dad has a laid-back personality but travels frequently, which often results in his being less active at home. The caregiver will never be alone with all three children. The household works as a team, with a minimum of a 2 to 3 ratio of adults to child ratio on any given day.

A family in Denville is looking for a proactive, patient nanny to take care of their two children, ages 1 year old and 3 years old. The current schedule is as follows:
Monday: 8 am -6 pm 
Tuesday: 7:30am-7:30pm 
Wednesday: 8am-6pm 
Thursday: 7:30am-7:30pm 
Friday: 8am-4pm (summer Fridays can end by 2pm)
Schedule flexibility is important. Notably, there must be flexibility for 12 hour days when Dad travels (average of 2x a week). 
Duties: 
Introducing solids to the baby. Preparing meals for the toddler. Preparing simple meals for the whole family. Doing the children&rsquo;s laundry. Vacuuming. Basic tidying after the children. Keeping the bottles and breast milk pump parts clean and available. Grocery shopping is a plus but not a requirement. 
Ideal nanny:
 
The ideal nanny for this household is a patient multitasker. They are good under pressure and are adaptable while also being able to adhere to a structured schedule. They are proactive in managing household tasks in a home with two children and understand that sometimes staying on schedule takes additional effort. A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree is a plus, but not required. 
 
 
About the children: The 3-year-old is fun, expressive, musical, sensitive, and introverted. He loves music, reading, and sensory input. He sometimes takes longer to adjust to new spaces and has trouble socially interacting with other kids. He goes to preschool 3 days a week, from 8:50 am to 11:30 am and is enrolled in early intervention programs.
The 1-year-old loves to drink milk, poop, and sleep, though he&rsquo;s not a good napper. Sometimes feeds can be difficult because he has reflux.

Both parents are hands-on, balancing work and taking care of their children. Mom is detail-oriented, playful, and able to juggle multiple things at once. Dad is smart, honest, fun and playful. The discipline structure in this home involves setting clear expectations with their children, using command language when a desired action is not an option. They utilize explanations to communicate when and why a behavior is harmful. They also do not do screentime with their kids.
