<p>The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is seeking a creative and detail-oriented <b>Associate Visual Designer</b> to join our Strategic Marketing Solutions team. <p></p><div>About the Role</div>
<p>The Associate Visual Designer supports the development and production of high-quality visual assets across print, digital, and environmental platforms. Working under the guidance of Senior Visual Designers and the design leadership team, this role executes design concepts, prepares production-ready files, and contributes to cohesive brand experiences across the Museum.</p>
<p>This position offers meaningful hands-on experience and the opportunity to grow within a dynamic creative team.</p>

<ul><li><p>Execute design projects across digital, print, and environmental formats</p>
</li><li><p>Apply established brand standards to ensure visual consistency</p>
</li><li><p>Prepare production-ready files for print and digital distribution</p>
</li><li><p>Assist with mock-ups, layouts, and installation graphics</p>
</li><li><p>Support coordination with vendors and fabricators</p>
</li><li><p>Collaborate with Marketing, Curatorial, Education, and Development teams</p>
</li></ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>What You Bring</b></h2>
<ul><li><p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field (or equivalent experience)</p>
</li><li><p>1&ndash;3 years of professional design experience or relevant internships</p>
</li><li><p>Strong portfolio demonstrating typography, layout, and visual communication skills</p>
</li><li><p>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite</p>
</li><li><p>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills</p>
</li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment</p>
