 Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Work with suppliers and internal sales team to build and implement brand strategies.</li>
<li>Work with suppliers with flexibility and professionalism.</li>
<li>Communicate clearly and consistently with suppliers, sales management, across all impacted regions and to all departments including Purchasing, Pricing, Sales, Key Accounts and any others as determined appropriate.</li>
<li>Work alongside Purchasing Team on all inventory control functions, including forecasting and managing OOD and OOS.</li>
<li>Proactively identifies and works to reduce inventory loss due to excess product. Methods can include increasing awareness, discounting, moving product and destroying as necessary.</li>
<li>Communicate pricing strategies to/from suppliers including GPIs.</li>
<li>Develop specific measurable and attainable brand programs for sales divisions.</li>
<li>Compile, review, and communicated sales data results against sales goals.</li>
<li>Provide timely updates and recaps to supplier representatives and key Odom employees.</li>
<li>Coordinate and implement promotional brand activity as appropriate and in-line with appropriate LMF levels.</li>
<li>Order and manage POS levels.</li>
<li>Attend out of market conferences, meetings, and supplier events as necessary.</li>
<li>Assist will all functions related to new item rollouts.</li>
<li>Stay current with brand knowledge and training specific to the brands carried by the Odom Corporation.</li>
<li>Work with and support the sales team as needed with flexibility and professionalism.</li></ul> 


Job Requirements
<ul>
<li>4-year college degree preferred but not required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
</li><li>Prefer knowledge of local market, customer service skills, and experience in the distribution industry.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li>
<li>Must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and able to work with very little direct supervision.</li>
<li>Strong track record of business development.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.</li>
<li>Demonstrates strong abilities to manage supplier-distributor relationships.</li>
<li>Must have valid driver&rsquo;s license, good driving record, proof of auto insurance (SR-22 is not acceptable), and own means of reliable transportation.</li></ul>

<li>Required to regularly stand, walk, lift product floor to waist, shoulder to overhead, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.</li></ul>

Supplier Manager

<div>$18.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience

Job Description
<ul>
<li>Daily visits Odom customer locations to merchandise and maintain our products through stocking, rotating, and building displays</li>
<li>Accurately documents the amount of products or items received or distributed, or set aside due to damage or being &ldquo;out-of-date&rdquo;</li>
<li>Build displays according to Supervisor/Sales Representative&rsquo;s directions</li>
<li>Stocks and rotates our products from the back stock stored on customer location</li>
<li>Stock and rotate merchandise on the floor, in coolers, bins, shelves, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type</li>
<li>Work to increase the company&rsquo;s share of display space, cooler space, shelf space, and overall visibility for our brands</li>
<li>Examine stock to verify conformance to quality standards</li>
<li>Hang interior/exterior point of sale advertisements at account locations</li>
<li>Build merchandising and promotional kits</li>
<li>Display promotional materials, such as POS, &amp; signage according to company and store policies</li>
<li>Requirements
<ul><li>Must be 21+ years old</li>
<li>Must have valid Drivers License</li>
<li>Must have proof of insurance</li>
<li>Must have a good driving record</li>
<li>Must have your own reliable means of transportation for getting to and from accounts</li>
<li>Should be physically capable to lift cases and display units which are sometimes in excess of 70 pounds on a repetitive basis</li>
<li>Professional attitude and appearance</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills</li>
<li>Prior retail stocking experience preferred</li>
