If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for precision and financial integrity, this opportunity is perfect for you!Duties<ul><li>Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or Quicken, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.</li><li>Perform reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.</li><li>Prepare and process journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and handle accounts reconciliation to support accurate financial reporting.</li><li>Oversee payroll functions, including calculating wages, deductions, taxes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.</li><li>Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and analyze accounts to identify discrepancies or errors for prompt resolution.</li><li>Generate detailed financial reports and assist in budgeting processes to support organisational planning.</li><li>Great with printing and faxing.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms; familiarity with financial software is essential.</li><li>Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, debits &amp; credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.</li><li>Knowledge of non-profit accounting practices is a plus; experience with governmental accounting is advantageous.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to perform account analysis, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately.</li><li>Familiarity with payroll processing procedures and tax regulations related to employee compensation.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail along with proficiency in 10-key typing for data entry accuracy.</li><li>Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly through financial report writing and documentation.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines.
