About the RoleThe Oracle Legal Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recent Law Graduate to join our team as an Attorney on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has recently obtained their J.D. and is looking to gain significant, hands-on experience in a fast-paced, global technology legal environment.The successful candidate will play a critical support role, assisting senior legal counsel with a wide range of tasks primarily focused on commercial contracting and internal legal operations.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Contract Review and Analysis: Review, analyze, and summarize commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), master service agreements (MSAs), and statement of works (SOWs).</li><li>Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research on relevant topics, statutes, and regulations to support contract drafting and internal memos.</li><li>Drafting Support: Assist senior attorneys in drafting, redlining, and managing legal documents and correspondence.</li><li>Compliance and Risk Management: Aid in implementing and monitoring internal legal processes to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.</li><li>Project Management: Support special projects related to internal operations, legal technology, and knowledge management within the Legal Group.</li><li>Administrative Support: Manage and organize documentation, files, and legal systems.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>J.D. Degree: Must have recently graduated from an accredited law school (e.g., within the last 1-3 years).</li><li>Excellent Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal issues clearly and concisely.</li><li>Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.</li><li>Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn new legal technology and contract management tools.</li><li>Work Ethic: Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment.</li></ul>Why Join Oracle?This contract role offers a unique opportunity to launch your legal career at one of the world's largest and most innovative technology companies.
