Local Charter school is in search of an experienced bookkeeper. Position can be flexible for a good candidate, with some hours on-site and remote.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Balance and maintain all accounts, using online access and downloading transactions.</li><li>Collect receipts and record against proper expense account.</li><li>Coordinate bank deposits.</li><li>Prepare financial statements on a monthly basis for the Principle, Executive Director and Board.</li><li>Monitor office expenses.</li><li>Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances.</li><li>Record Payroll, manage retirement collections and payments to the state, as well as healthcare deductions and payments. File 1099s.</li><li>Track expenses against received grants.</li><li>Assist Executive Director and Board with applying for certain grants.</li><li>Work closely with Auditors for Annual Audit.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred</li><li>At least 3 years of Bookkeeping experience, preferably with Quickbooks.</li><li>Strong Excel and software skills.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $22.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
