Job Overview The Perna Team is one of Metro Detroit&rsquo;s top real estate groups, with 24+ years of experience, 8,000+ transactions, and a strong, recognizable brand. As we continue to grow, we&rsquo;re expanding our in-house media team.We&rsquo;re looking for a creative, reliable visual professional who can produce high-quality listing photography and cinematic, scroll-stopping videos (including drone footage). This is not a &ldquo;point-and-shoot&rdquo; role &mdash; we want someone who can elevate our listings and help make our brand stand out online.This role also includes capturing lifestyle b-roll throughout Metro Detroit and providing light field support/runner duties when needed.To apply: Submit your resume and a link to your portfolio and video examples. If you take pride in your work and want to be part of a high-performing, growth-focused team, we&rsquo;d love to connect.Duties<ul><li>Capture high-quality photographs of residential and commercial properties, ensuring each shot highlights the property&rsquo;s best features and adheres to brand standards.</li><li>Produce engaging property videos, including filming walkthroughs, drone footage, and promotional clips that enhance online listings and marketing campaigns.</li><li>Edit photos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, ensuring accurate color management, photo manipulation, and polished results.</li><li>Edit videos with tools like Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro, applying post-production techniques to create compelling visual stories that attract potential buyers or tenants.</li><li>Support field operations by assisting with property staging, setup for shoots, and coordinating logistics for on-site filming or photography sessions.</li><li>Manage social media content creation by preparing visual assets for online platforms, enhancing engagement through creative art direction and storytelling.</li><li>Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative visual content aligned with branding strategies while maintaining consistency in color theory and overall aesthetic.</li></ul>Responsibilities: If you love variety, you&rsquo;ll love this role. You will:<ul><li>Photograph and film real estate listings (interior and exterior)</li><li>Shoot and edit listing videos using drone, DSLR, and Osmo Pocket 3 &mdash; cinematic, viral-ready content</li><li>Capture and edit listing photos including AI-enhanced post-processing</li><li>Build an ongoing b-roll library of Metro Detroit cities, downtown corridors, parks, and community spaces</li><li>Manage your own shoot schedule across multiple locations weekly</li><li>Deliver content that's consistent, on-brand, and 24 hour -turnaround</li><li>Capture drone footage (Zillow Showcase Certified preferred &mdash; we can help you obtain this)</li><li>Create basic listing marketing materials (flyers, brochures, simple graphics)</li><li>Deliver lockboxes and signs, drop off open house kits, and run occasional field errands</li><li>Assist with social media content related to listings and branding</li><li>Interact professionally with homeowners, clients, agents, and staff in person</li></ul>You&rsquo;ll have a mix of creative production and on-the-go execution &mdash; no two days will look the same.Requirements / What We&rsquo;re Looking For: We&rsquo;re looking for someone who is:Experienced:<ul><li>2+ years of photo/video experience in real estate, commercial, or architectural photograph</li><li>A portfolio that makes us stop scrolling &mdash; if you can't show us, we can't hire you</li><li>Ability to shoot in any conditions: lived-in homes, vacant properties, outdoor spaces, urban environments</li><li>Someone who takes creative ownership, not just takes orders</li><li>Organized enough to juggle multiple active listings without dropping the ball</li></ul>Technically Skilled:<ul><li>Experienced with photo editing, retouching, color correction, and basic photo manipulation</li><li>Familiar with videography, filming, and post-production workflows</li><li>Comfortable using professional camera bodies, lenses, lighting setups, stabilizers, and related equipment</li><li>Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and detail to showcase properties at their best</li><li>Solid grasp of color management and color theory to create vibrant yet natural images</li></ul>Content Versatile:<ul><li>Confident shooting interior, exterior, drone, and lifestyle content</li><li>Zillow Showcase Certified is a plus (we can assist with obtaining this certification)</li></ul>People-Oriented:<ul><li>Comfortable interacting with homeowners, clients, and agents</li><li>Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly presence on site</li></ul>Organized &amp; Driven:<ul><li>Self-directed and motivated by deadlines</li><li>Able to consistently deliver a 24-hour turnaround on listing media</li><li>Able to manage multiple shoots and edits while maintaining quality</li></ul>Reliable &amp; Field-Ready:<ul><li>Reliable transportation, valid driver&rsquo;s license, and current insurance</li><li>Comfortable driving to multiple property locations and running light errands (signs, lockboxes, open house kits, etc.)</li></ul>Equipment is provided &mdash; we just need you to bring your talent, creativity, drive, and consistency.Join us as a Real Estate Photographer and help turn every property into an eye-catching masterpiece that captivates buyers.
