Reports To: Wellness Director Job Title: Caregiver/Medication Aide Department: WellnessNature &amp; Scope To provide respectful, friendly and cost effective quality care to our residents in their actives of daily living (ADLs) while striving to help our residents maintain an independent lifestyleMinimum eligibility requirements<ul><li>Ability to see and hear (with or without restriction)</li><li>Must practice and promote the communities guidelines, Policies and Procedures, Mission Statement, Values and Goals</li><li>Ability to read and write English.</li><li>Ability to speak English.</li><li>Ability to count and calculate simple math concepts.</li><li>Ability to use telephone including intercom system.</li><li>Ability to use a calculator.</li><li>Ability to use a pager and smart phone.</li><li>Ability to use a weather radio.</li><li>Ability to stand for 80% of shift.</li><li>Ability to move quickly and safely in event of emergency situation.</li><li>Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs (i.e. boxes, picking up resident with help from another staff member, assist with resident showers or picking up laundry baskets).</li><li>Ability to push/pull (i.e. med cart, meal cart, tables, chairs, with residents in, laundry cart, wheelchairs and sweep).</li></ul>Essential functions<ul><li>Medication Supervision</li><li>Medication Re-Order Responsibilities</li><li>Dressing/Grooming</li><li>Shower Assistance</li><li>Escorting Residents to Activities</li><li>Report Health Status Concerns</li><li>Meal Prep / Tray Service / Service of Meals</li><li>Laundry Service</li><li>Light Housekeeping</li><li>Trash Collection</li><li>Bed Making</li><li>Daily Tidying of Building</li><li>Assist with Activities</li></ul>Customer service<ul><li>Responsible for providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.</li></ul>Residents&rsquo; rights<ul><li>Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents&rsquo; rights.</li></ul>Training<ul><li>Attend training sessions as directed by supervisor.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PRNPay: From $16.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
