About the Role</h3>
As a Staff PTA, you&rsquo;ll work closely with our Physical Therapists and Rehabilitation leadership to provide hands-on care and support resident recovery. This role blends direct patient care, collaboration, and clinical documentation, giving you the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic skilled nursing setting.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You&rsquo;ll Do</h3><ul><li>
Provide therapy treatments to residents under the direction of a Physical Therapist</li><li>
Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with regulations</li><li>
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans, progress updates, and discharge planning</li><li>
Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and fall prevention</li><li>
Assist with care conferences and rehabilitation meetings</li><li>
Support safe treatment environments and proper equipment use</li><li>
Recommend and assist with obtaining adaptive equipment to improve resident mobility and independence</li><li>
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education as needed</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What We&rsquo;re Looking For</h3><ul><li>
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in California (required)</li><li>
Associate degree from an accredited PTA program</li><li>
Strong teamwork and communication skills</li><li>
Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred</li><li>
Familiarity with EHR systems (such as Net Health or PointClickCare) is a plus</li><li>
Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
