The Pink Rosette, a premium patisserie and caf&eacute; based in Fort, Mumbai.We are looking for an operations manager to oversee our back-end and front-end operations across the central kitchen and retail space as well as to other dark locations. The candidate will direct all aspects of the business to optimize all operations and increase profits, including managing purchases, set up and manage inventory systems with respect to sales, cost- controlling procedures and reports and work with senior management to optimize profits.The scope of work includes:<ul><li>Streamlining all restaurant and back-end procedures.</li><li>Maintaining high-quality customer service.</li><li>Optimize employee scheduling</li><li>Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies for cost optimisation and enhancing supply chain efficiency.</li><li>Identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards.</li><li>Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing, payment terms and mutually beneficial agreements.</li><li>Conducting market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities and pricing fluctuations.</li><li>Managing supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, issue resolution and fostering long-term partnerships.</li><li>Monitoring inventory levels, analysing demand patterns and implementing inventory management strategies to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or excesses.</li><li>Implement procurement systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.</li><li>Analyse inventory levels, demand forecasts and consumption patterns to optimise stock levels and reduce carrying costs.</li><li>Generate and analyse cost-controlling reports to understand food cost patterns with respect to sales, revenue and expenses.</li><li>Continuously evaluate and improve procurement practices, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and process enhancements.</li><li>Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, performance metrics and cost savings to higher management.</li><li>Develop and maintain procurement metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement and report on sourcing effectiveness.</li><li>Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to sourcing activities.</li><li>Reduce costs and expenses by managing budget vs actual variances by cost centre, profit, centre, department or project and taking corrective actions.</li><li>Analysing costs with respect to purchases and sales and streamlining operations for optimum profit.</li><li>Managing data entry for initial inventory set-up and thereafter ensuring the purchases are entered and inventory is managed as per our entry system.</li><li>Set -up the data entry system in tandem with our POS provider and our team</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;15,445.95 - &#8377;57,448.80 per monthWork Location: In person
