As a Social Emotional Coach at The Pinnacle School, you will provide one-on-one behavioral and emotional support to students, helping them build self-regulation, social skills, and confidence. You&rsquo;ll work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure students thrive both academically and emotionally.
What You&rsquo;ll Need<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in education, psychology, or a related field</li><li>
Experience supporting children or adolescents with behavioral or learning differences</li><li>
Calm, caring, and patient demeanor grounded in professionalism and empathy</li><li>
Strong collaboration, active listening, and communication skills</li><li>
Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication tasks</li><li>
Availability to work 11 months (this is an 11 month position which includes the academic school year and a 4 week summer program in July)</li><li>
Be available to work Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
</li></ul>What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>
Provide one-on-one classroom support focused on academic engagement, emotional regulation, and social interaction</li><li>
Monitor and document student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions</li><li>
Assist students with self-help and daily living skills to promote independence and confidence</li><li>
Implement de-escalation and calming strategies to maintain safety and support emotional stability</li><li>
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistent, individualized student support</li></ul>
