This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a lively, welcoming setting while ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.</li><li>Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Club Prophet and deliver prompt service to guests.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times.</li><li>Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, upsell menu items, and enhance their overall experience.</li><li>Manage cash handling duties including cashiering and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions.</li><li>Assist in setting up banquet events or nightclub functions as needed, providing excellent catering and serving support.</li><li>Monitor guest behavior to ensure safety and compliance with alcohol service regulations while promoting a fun yet responsible atmosphere.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings.</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Club Prophet for efficient order processing.</li><li>Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations seamlessly during busy hours.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle inquiries professionally.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to maintain health compliance.</li><li>Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cash handling, retail math, and billing accuracy.</li><li>Experience in brewing or beverage preparation is a plus; certification in food industry safety is preferred.
