Responsible for planning and delivering support activities aimed at ensuring both children and adults are provided the opportunity to participate in the Tribal Scholarship Program. In addition, the position monitors all Pueblo/School relationships. This will be accomplished with continuous communication with schools, collection of data, reports on students&rsquo; performance, and working with the families of the community.</p><p>

<div><p><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></p></div><div><div><br>
<ul><li>
Assists in the development of a comprehensive educational plan to address student, parent, and guardian concerns.</li><li>
Compiles and makes summary attendance and grade reports.</li><li>
Assists in the development of a departmental budget.</li><li>
Attends meetings with local educational agencies, as needed.</li><li>
Identifies students enrolled in area schools.</li><li>
Contacts school personnel regarding student performance and develops plans to assist with growth and development of students.</li><li>
Through testing results and conversations with schools, develops relearning, retaining, and enrichment programs, coordinates tutoring activities with students, schools, and Tribal programs.</li><li>
Oversees all aspects of the Tribal scholarship program.</li><li>
Assists students with general preparation for continuing education, i.e., college, trade, or vocational schools, along with financial aid requests, and preparation of entrance documents.</li><li>
Plans and conducts educationally oriented field trip opportunities, including inter-department functions.</li></ul><p>

KPI&rsquo;s will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI&rsquo;s as part of the performance review process.</p></div><br>

Education and Experience<br>

<div><div><p>Required:</p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, K-12, Native American Studies or related field from an accredited college or university.</li></ul><p>

License/Certifications/Registrations<br>

<div><ul><li>Must possess and maintain a valid unrestricted New Mexico driver&rsquo;s license.
</li><li>Must be able to successfully pass a Background and Character Investigation in compliance with PL 101.630.</li><li>
