 Position Summary
 
 
 
 Room Attendants are responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in a timely manner. They ensure that all rooms are up to cleanliness standards. Reporting any maintenance issues as well as handling guests requests or complaints. Cleaning/organizing housekeeping carts, corridors, and storage closets daily.
 
 
 
 Main Duties And Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Must be able to work weekends and holidays
 </li>
 <li>
 Arrive on time with a positive attitude
 </li>
 <li>
 Stock housekeeping cart before and after with guest room supplies
 </li>
 <li>
 Clean bathroom and bedrooms
 </li>
 <li>
 Inspect mattress pads, pillows and bedskirts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Make beds and change linens
 </li>
 <li>
 Clean refrigerator
 </li>
 <li>
 Clean/sanitize room furniture: coffee maker, telephone etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report any maintenance issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Sweep and mop guest rooms
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>

 Job Requirements
 
 
 
 
 Education:
 
 High School diploma or GED preferred
 
 
 
 Experience:
 
 One or two years of housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
 
 
 
 Skills
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to clean 15/16 rooms per shift.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to perform assigned tasks with attention to detail, essential speed and accuracy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to clean a check out within 30-35 minutes
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to clean a stayover in 20-25 minutes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Teamwork and leadership.

 Working Conditions
 
 
 
 
 Equipment to Be Used:
 
 Cart, broom, dustpan, Swiffer mop, toilet brush, squeegee, &amp; other cleaning supplies.
 
 
 
 Physical &amp; Mental Requirements

 Able to stand for long periods of time

 Able to squat, push and pull at least 20 lbs.
