Our team at The RealReal is growing, and we&rsquo;re seeking experienced sales professionals to drive consignment business. As a Luxury Consignment Executive (LCE), you&rsquo;ll play a vital role in Outside Sales&mdash;acquiring luxury items from clients and building both new and repeat business within your assigned territory. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, self-motivated, and thrives in a quota-driven, in-home appointment sales environment.<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You Get To Do Everyday</h1><ul><li>
Client Outreach: Engage new and existing clients through daily outreach and in-home appointments to drive consignment activity. Develop and execute creative networking and outreach strategies to attract new consignors and foster repeat business.</li><li>
Lead Generation &amp; Conversion: Proactively build pipeline by sourcing new leads, reactivating lapsed clients, and converting marketing-qualified leads into consignors. Leverage Salesforce CRM to effectively manage a book of business.</li><li>
Sales Performance: Consistently meet or exceed monthly quotas by driving key performance metrics and contributing to overall revenue growth.</li><li>
Consignment Procurement &amp; Logistics: Acquire luxury consignment items from clients and oversee the end-to-end coordination of item pickup and shipment to The RealReal&rsquo;s e-commerce centers.</li><li>
Client Experience: Deliver a high-touch, white-glove experience throughout the consignment process to ensure client satisfaction, trust, and long-term engagement.</li><li>
Contract Management &amp; Client Consultations: Clearly present and review consignment contracts, establish pricing expectations using internal tools and luxury market expertise, and guide clients through each step of the process.</li><li>
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Retail teams to support sales growth and collaborate closely with the Consignor Relations team to proactively address and resolve client concerns.</li><li>
Field Work: Spend the majority of time&mdash;over 70%&mdash;in the field, cultivating client relationships and securing consigned items through personalized, in-home appointments.</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You Bring To The Role</h1>
Minimum Requirements<ul><li>
3+ years of proven success in performance-driven direct sales roles, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.</li><li>
Exceptional ability to build rapport, earn trust, and communicate effectively regarding high-value goods / services with discerning clientele.</li><li>
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment.</li><li>
Strong relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in Salesforce (or similar CRM).</li><li>
Able to commit to a 40-hour workweek with occasional off-hours; must reside in the assigned territory, possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license, maintain compliant insurance and driving record, and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.</li><li>
Willing and able to travel more than 70% within the designated market.</li></ul>
Preferred Requirements<ul><li>
Prior experience in selling luxury goods and/or high-end services.</li><li>
Established book of business with existing client relationships.</li><li>

The expected salary range for this role is $60,000.00-$65,000.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate&rsquo;s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR&rsquo;s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.

The RealReal is looking for a highly experienced and self-motivated Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our Growth team.
 
 
Working closely with Product partners and Engineering management, you will build technical solutions enhancing The RealReal&rsquo;s on-platform experiences, helping the business acquire and activate high value customers. You will also work closely with Marketing and other business stakeholders to help build seamless and engaging customer journeys that optimize our marketing effectiveness. We are especially excited about you if you are enthusiastic about working in the luxury retail/e-commerce space or if you are passionate about our mission of sustainability in creating a circular economy for high-end goods. 
 
As a pivotal contributor, you'll be tasked with driving our software solutions' design, development, and implementation. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment, is passionate about building scalable and high-performance systems, and is eager to tackle complex challenges.
 
 
In this position, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology stack, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring the delivery of robust, secure, and innovative products. What You Bring To The Role</h1>
Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>
At least 7 years of software development experience</li><li>
Proven experience with the development, scaling, and maintenance of distributed systems</li><li>
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, architectural design, and agile development methodologies</li><li>
Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to work independently on complex issues</li><li>
Effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely</li></ul>
Preferred Requirements:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>
7+ years of software development experience with a track record of successfully shipping consumer or business facing products</li><li>
Strong background in Ruby on Rails or Elixir</li><li>
Experience developing and implementing marketing technology (MarTech), in close collaboration with Product and Marketing teams</li><li>
Experience working with Data Engineering and Machine Learning teams</li><li>
Experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.</li><li>
Familiarity with AWS</li><li>
